The stock size is 205/55/16, which means the radius is 315.95mm. On yours the radius is 316.54mm so it is 0.18% out, or at 100kmh you would be doing 100.18kmh. So virtually nothing, and with the accuracy of the speedo taken into account you would be likely be doing anywhere between 95kmh and 100kmh.

As I said in the other thread, if your wheels are 7.5" or wider I would suggest 225/35/19 for you simply because you can get GSD3's in that size and it will give you slightly more contact patch on the road. Your speed will be out more though, when it indicates 100kmh you would be doing 101.29kmh. Still not as bad as me with 235/45/17 tyres at 101.8kmh.

diddims eh. But will the eagles rub? Ive got stock suspension.

Where do I look to find the width of the rims? Its dark outside and it'll save me looking everywhere.

That link just takes you to the front page, the mag and turbo site does that, you need to go to the page you want, then right click somewhere on that page and take the address from the properties menu.

225/35/19 should be fine, lots of people run 225/40/18 or 225/45/17 which are similar in size and width without a problem. The offset of your wheels are the key really, it they are close to 30mm then they will rub against the outside wheel arch, if they are around 45mm then you will have problems with the rear suspension arm.

there called advanti medusa's
they come in 19x 7.5 and 19 x 8

id be very suprised if they are 8" wide,
just coz its a VERY tight fit under there,

more likely to be 7.5s

to find out for sure you will have to take one off the car, as the size will be cast into the mag, most likely on one of the spokes

and brad you're wrong

http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

Specification-Sidewall-Radius--Diameter-Circumference-Revs/km--Difference
205/55-16 --113mm---316mm-632mm---1985mm-------504-------- 0.0%
215/25-19---54mm----295mm-590mm---1854mm-------539-------- -6.6%

so when you are doing 100km on you speedo,
your actually going 93.4km.

and id would consider a 225/35/19 tyre on there (see if you can get a test fit)
just coz its closer to stock size and has a bit more sidewall and is wider, so shouldnt be as harsh to drive on

Hang on a minute, 25 profile or 35 profile? I'm right for 35 profile, and you're right for 25 profile, but I thought he had 35 profile.
