Theres been a bit of chat recently about coilovers and such.

One of which is this (http://www.clubvr4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=19883) thread.

I know the rates are different on EC5a vs EC5w however, but by how much?

What exactly will the difference in handling, or performance be?

I really cant imagine it would be that much, or indeed that it would affect the handling of the car that much. (esp on fully adjustable coilovers)

Yeah, this is what im wondering.

Im a total Name head, id buy overpriced stuff just for the name.. i.e. Quicksilver jeans at 100 quid, when 40 quid ones are better.

The same applies to my car :speechles

So, im looking to get tanabes again, or TEINS.

I don't think there is much to worry about with adjustable suspension from a Legnum on a Galant, you can of course just adjust the suspension to suit. Uc's car handles fine.

omg /Grrr

Just spoke to a guy from Tokyo Express regarding Tanabe Pro Sevens (http://www.tanabe-usa.com/coilovers/seven.asp) and a TEAS (http://www.tanabe-usa.com/coilovers/teas.asp) kit.

Ive forgotten how clueless people are about our cars. /pan

I had to explain in detail that the cars were never sold in USA, as he was saying if its not on that website, we dont do it :inquisiti - but its on the japanese website, which is what i said in the first place. All i want to know is if i can get the Pro Sevens for a ec5a or ec5w :baby:

Anyhoo, will hear back from him soon.

That was before it was dropped by a few more coils.
Basically the rear end is slightly firmer as I assume Legnums require more load in the rear...overall, they work a treat!

How low did you drop the front/rear then?

My *RED* brembo's have been on my car for a while, and lets just say it hasn't moved at all, so they must be doing their job :D

Might be a good idea to start a useless thread like THIS ONE (http://www.clubvr4.com/forum/showthread.php?p=219748#post219748)so we don't hijack this informative thread. :)
