I recently had these done but looking at them, I feel they need to be colour-coded. Can they be colour coded once they have been fitted in the vehicle or are they supposed to be colour coded before they are fitted? Would I need to take them out and then take them to a body spray shop?

Na, I just got them fitted from a local garage. The guy said it doesn't say anything on the package.

I would think that painting would effect the sensitivity of them :speechles:speechles

Is it possible to take them out once they are drilled in or would it be unusable once taken out?

Pretty sure these devices are "time of flight" ultrasonic sensors. Painting shouldn't affect their performance. Spray is only microns thick and will not
attenuate the signal. But best to check what it said on the box.

I reckon it should be ok to spray up. Most sensors on the market allow spraying. I got two sets of four, sprayed up but iv not had time to fit them. Iv now decided to put rear sensors only, cant be asked messing with the sweet front bumper. So if anyone wants a set of four sensors with buzzer sprayed, then pm me.

As to remove them and refit them, i dont see a problem.
