Looks good m8

I like the type 2 brace...

Will the top front brace clear the throttle body? I seem to remember people having problems with aftermarket braces there before.....

Nice and shiney though!

Is your car lowered, as i was told the lower brace can be very low and catch on thing like speed bumps ect.

I would stongly advise you go slowly over you first bumps to check, or even measure the clearance when fitted then measure the speed bumps in your neck of the woods. Round manchester they can be a good 4-5" of raised high impact rubber in the middle of the road.

just a word of warning.

I bought a lowered VR4 and had i driven over a speed bump i would have lost my sump.
Good job i checked, then i got myself some standard springs.

OK now.

Yup

If the car is lowered, clearance is an issue.

My car isnt lowered at the moment, but I may remove my JIC front lower bar if its too close...

I have a Type-2 brace under the car and it's lowered. I have had the fecking brace catch when driving spiritedly along a country road and when we went to the Japshow finale (parking in a field), half the bloody field came back with me beneath the car! The local criket club keeps asking me if I can sharpen the brace up a bit and drive up and down their pitch! /pan

looks nice, want to get some to stop my front end rolling all over the place, but im gunna get them custom made......as for catching the floor....lol my old 69 vw fastback, the floorpan used to scrape the roads quite alot and that was the highest point of the car.....the front beam the lowest point of the car made some lovely grooves in the roads, and speed bumps lol

I may have an issue but Pah
But i am tempted to raise mine a bit to stop the rear tyres catching and protect the bumper a bit more then soften the shocks up a bit to improve the handling it's bit hard so on the great smooth /Grrr uk roads its skitish at times
Find a smooth road and game on /rally

RHDJapan i believe
correct
did get charged for 1/2 vat but not full value £16 then parcelforce collection fee £13.50
actual took less time to get from japan to the uk than it did to "notify me of charges)
all in it took 6 days
