Young Hamish McTavish was the first scotsman to get into a university in England. After a few months his mother came to visit, bringing plenty of Haggis and whiskey.
"So Hamish, how are you finding living in the halls?"
"Oh it's terrible momma, the guy in the room on the left is always crying all night, moaning and screaming, and the one on the right bangs his head on the wall incessantly"
"That sounds horrible dear...how do you stand it?"
"Oh i manage fine, i just stay in my room and play my bagpipes"
