Hi all,

Iv been meaning to ask what the following item is for some time now,

At first I thought it might be something to do with the alarm but I didnt notice any different when I disconnected it. Im sure its something basic probly is something to do with the alarm..

Yes.... I think it's alarm related. Looks very similar to something I once saw whilst fiddling with Hordak, though it wasn't there and I don't wish to disclose the location

On the other side of that unit there is a little sensitivity switch screw thing with '+' and '-' as the two ends.

N13l... Just zapped a bit out your original post regarding the location of that sensor.... Just incase, y'know...:scholar: Hope that's okay.

Yeah I guess its probly a vibration/shock sensor.

It definately looks like the movement / shock sensor, I found mine [edited for security reasons - K] and it was on a bracket which is [snip! -K]. This unit is so sensitive that I reckon it was picking up very minute vibrations coming through the chassis , probably why the alarm went off every time it rained hard. I now have it resting on a piece of foam rubber to try to insulate it from picking anything up from the chassis.This seems to be the solution at the moment as we had very heavy rain and wind last night and it didn't go off.
