tcl and trace off

i have just brought a 1994 vr4 on da dash it hass the tcl light on the left it has tcl off and on the right it has trace off could anybody help me with what trace off means also when im going reasonablky fast around corners the tcl light comes on any imformation would be appreciated otherwise it kicks ass

Being a 1994 model it is probably a 7G Galant. I had a similar problem with my 8G model.

If the TCL is off all the time and the switch does not turn it on, take it to a mitsi dealer who can put a MUT on it. The trace light could be something to do with the engine.

If you have an engine problem, the TCL automatically goes off.

I had a intermittent problem and had to wait for it to happen as I was going to work. It turned out to be a faulty fuel solenoid. All fixed for under $200, including airlifting the part direct from Japan.
