ive got an evo 8 one on mine, but it required a modification, the 7's go on no bother as far as i recall.

See, thats what I thought, but when i search for an Evo 7 Flywheel it states its for both the 7 & 8....

I think the 7 & 8 flywheels / clutches are a slightly lager diameter? 4 & 5 clutches are the right size for the VR4. Although, I am lead to believe any size will fit as long as the clutch and the flywheel are matched.

Did you get that clutch of the MLR?

Naaa... i was interested to try it at that price... but never got it in the end.

Im going to bag clutch parts from RHD, so ill see what more I can find.

Lida sell a flywheel, although im unsure as to its advantages, if any.

Also... to confirm.

The Vr4 is a 240mm clutch, as is the Evo 7 & 8

The Evo 4,5,6 are 230mm

Now that is interesting. I thought the VR4 was the smaller size.

Well..

This is interesting.

When I spoke with Mike at Camskill, he reckoned that 2 different clutches exist for the vr4. 240mm & 225mm as per the camskill site.

However, I reckon he has based that on chassis number EC5W which doesnt just mean the vr4, but also the STR if I remember correctly.

So, the 225mm would be for the v6 engined cars, and 240mm for the vr4's

I think :)

I have a well used one in the garage. I'll measure it tomorrow evening, and we'll see for sure!

I think :)

not sure about the clutch sizes, but EC5W definately is used as the STR (Legnum) chassis number if that helps

Also confirmed in your latest thread. VR4 clutch diameter is definitely 240mm.
