I was looking at getting some springs for the v6, to lower by 40mm (as we all know its ride is like a 5 series)

Would these springs and current dampers be ok? I have had springs before on other cars, but want to know if anyones regretted this move in respect to quality of ride. I'm not after turning my car into a track beast, I just want subtle adjustments

OR should I wait, and fork out for the full kit when I've got the car how I want?

I know Kieran put eibach progressive lowering springs on his previous V6, with good results.

I say fork out on the kit. Blistein B12 Suspension Kit is what I got, Its solid. Cost of kit was £460, then needed to get it fitted.

I've heard good and bad things about Spax. They are better than gmax and the like, but never heard a bad thing about eibach or tein. I've there isnt much price difference I'd go for the better ones.

The springs on my old V6 were H&Rs coupled with Bilstein B4 shocks. However, my recommendation to any V6 owners is Eibach springs. So many good things said about them on here. Search for 'Eibach' and you'll see what I mean!

Eibach are the daddies - used them on a V6-24 and a V6 Sport - made a hell of a difference on trhe V6 Sport as the V6-24 suspension seems a bit better as standard

I had SPAX 40mm on my earlier Galant 2.0 GLS, they worked just fine, had to replace the back shocks to shocks without selfleveling tho. ( I went with Monroe´s shocks)
