First time I had ever seen one of these earlier today.........the Volvo C30......sat right behind it on the road and, not sure if it's just me, but thought the ass looked really weird

well its better than a megane , i suppose its not what we are used to , so its a bit weird , but at least Volvo have grown some balls and thrown the designers straight edge away

It's because you're used to hatchbacks having metal in the tailgate, whereas the C30 tailgate is all glass.

Looks weird for an ovlov. But if you took the badge off and didn't know what make it was, then it could look cool.

interesting point, volvo label does colour ones opinions somewhat.

Saw one of these a couple of weeks ago parked outside work. I actually really like it ...

I agree, I think it looks pretty cool, but I doubt I would ever buy one!

I think it looks OK :) Twin exhausts so one with a bit of poke? Audi S3 competitor?

They've shoved the Focus ST engine in the top model haven't they? 2.5 5 cylinder Turbo in the region of 250bhp?

I like the front more than the back, it certainly has some design cues from the old 480 at the rear.

Other way around. Ford put the Volvo T5 engine into the focus because it was better than any of their home-grown engines.

The C30, S40 and V50 are all based on the focus platform, so the engineering is there to put volvo engines into the chassis without much difficulty.

The back reminds me of a Pug 107.....
