View Full Version : Cutting the Battery Tray away...

Gents

Cut down the metal and plastic tray to fit the small battery...

Took a pic to show the extra air flow space that can be used. :afro:

I might try and get some kind of intake in that area, but as you can see, the space available is superb compared to auto's.

Yup big difference


My plan was to move the battery to the boot, but after a bit of coming and going, i decided as my battery was 1/2 size anyway, it doesnt make any difference to the 'line' of air flow at the fuse box.

Also, I was unure on the effects of cable lenght to the boot..

Anyways, this could be a cheap alternative.

Well, yes and no..

Should keep, but only one space for a toy... we'll see.

I have spent a lot on it though...

We'll see how it gets on at japfest, that may sway things
