Did you do this yourself or get it done? What paint did you/they use, some sort of VHT paint I presume. Did you not do the area around the Brembo decals or did you get new decals. If so where from?

Cheers.

BTW they look great with the white rims.................really good.

They are OK if you match them with the right Discs :D

i used chinese laquer red to repaint mine.. and got new decals done......the trick is using a heat gun to apply the decal....once you apply it to the paint..use a heat gun to "bake" it...same for the paint...i bakedthe paint on effectively.....so it wont scald if any brake fuild leaks.....

i used septone brake and drum paint from supercheap,
gloss red, (3 coats)

the applied white vinyl brembo stickers (custom size by request)
this is the auction, bought 2 sets (mine and uc's)
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=87443011

then applied flame/heat proof clear over the top (septone from super cheap again), (2 coats)

the clear dries in 24 hours, so you can handle them
and bakes hard once there on the car and you give the brakes a good/hot workout. (goes a bit tacky when heated the first time but there jsut baking and drying right up)

Gly, did you strip the paint off before painting the calipers? If so, what did you use - is a normal paint stripper OK to use? You said in another thread that you have a suggestion to add to the article about changing the calipers - can you fill us in please! A last question - what size sticker did you order from the guy on TM?

Gly
