Sam, I've also got a pocket knife and a clear philips head screw driver. I think the pocket knife might by Dickytim's, not sure on the screwdriver though.

Brad if the screwdriver is a small Phillips it is mine. I have also mislaid a pair of longnose pliers if you find them lying around. Thanks again for a lovely day and thanks too to David and Lucas for their help with my car and to Kenny and Jo for a sterling effort on the barbie. Thanks to the rest of the gang for the fun and laughter! By the way, would you drop off the screwdriver at the Vodaphone shop in Newmarket for attention to Liz. (She is my daughter and works there part time)

Yeah Brad i'll do the trip up next time for sure! :afro: You guys seem to get HEAPS of people turning up to these things!

Looks like everyone had a promo day!! Nice, high five!

dickytim
19-02-2007, 07:38 AM
yeah I left my pocket knife behind and my wire strippers, not too worried about either, I have another of each laying around here, and the wire strippers were cheapies any way, On my way home i discovered my windows didn't work :(

Luckily I discovered tonight the 30a slow blow fuse had blown, so it wasn't my loom removal to blame...luckily :P

bradc
19-02-2007, 07:54 AM
no, not a single black one at all. My first one was black and it looked fantastic.

Richard, got both of them here. Good to hear that you found the problem.

try having a white car (pearl white).. takes me at least 20-30min to wash each sides of the car. takes me at almost 2hrs 30min to wash my car properly. and thats not even the inside. /Grrr hardest parts to clean is the wheel arches on the inside, where tar and **** get stuck or built up from the wheels.. takes for ever to clean. but at then end car looks nice and new again..

bradc
19-02-2007, 08:14 AM
Thats the whole point of having a white car though, never having to clean it. I've cleaned mine once since November :) And that was a car wash job as well!

bradc

Sam - dunno. The car starting vibrating half way up the street, so I pulled over and checked all the tyres and they were fine so I started off again and it was really bad, so I turned around and started going back home. Then it fell off. I only recovered one wheel nut. Fortunately it only did a very small amount of damage to the brake rotor because I turned into a ditch so it didn't scrape along on the road. I got it towed back home. The brake dust cover was rooted so I bent that out of the way with some pliers and drove the car in to work today and it's 100% ok. Still trying to figure out what happened there.

Anyway for the pics:

First two are Richard on the ramps to inspect his front bumper damage

Third one is Uc, Don, and Lucas doing lots of work! The car on the right is William's.

The next two are William installing a boost gauge into his car

Then we have a couple of Carsten and Mike working on the camber mod with Mike's car in the background

The next three pics are Richard (dickytim) installing his audio setup which proved to be capable of flattening batteries, not surprising with 3 amps!

There is a couple of pictures of the cars outside all parked up. We had 14 cars there at one point and there was still room for another 10 or 15, so the next workshop day can turn into a full weekend!

I snapped another pic of William installing his boost gauge, theres some more to come as well.

bradc
19-02-2007, 09:52 PM
then there is a few of Carsten and Uc installing Shady's decat pipe. Some great legs there Uc :)

After that William moved onto changing his spark plugs with a lot of help from David (Subaru ETA)

Then we've got 3 nice pictures of Don's shiney engine bay

After that there is two pictures of Det changing Sam's engine oil and Filter

Two nice facelift wagons with wheel arches are featured in the next pic, Don's car and William's

I took another shot of William changing his spark plugs, it took him a while!

Theres another one of Sam's car.

Then one of Don in his car either fiddling with his boost gauge or his 'sneaky auto mod.

The next picture is a fairly average one showing a few cars outside, Richard was still working hard on his car at this point.

Then there is a nice pic showing how clean my door is on my car :)

bradc
19-02-2007, 09:56 PM
Last 3 pics!

There is another one of my dirty door, a great pic of Don's boost gauge, and lastly a picture of the donated tools.

I think the wire stripper and pocket knife are Dickytim's, the side cutter and the two screwdrivers on the left might belong to William, I'm not sure about the clear screwdriver though.
