I have a seat alhambra 1.9TDi SE 130bhp at the moment and although I bought her because of the size and seating we are not utilising the space as much as we expected with a 3rd child !

I am pondering and knowing Barry's car from working with him I like the Galant/Legnum.

My concern is the running costs of one !

anyone give me some true driving figures INSERT INTO post VALUES ( I like to drive !!!)

Try 17mpg around town and 20-25mpg on a steady run :INSERT INTO post VALUES (

Blimey ! I used to get better from my XR4x4i INSERT INTO post VALUES (2.8 V6!) and that was classed as a fuel guzzler.

I will double my annual fuel bill with figures like that !

Can the VR4 be run with LPG ?

Maybe, but the grin I get does wonders for my health. They say smiling is the best medicine. Driving a VR-4 gives you that.

If you worry about petrol costs, and not smile, you will lose years of your life. What value would you put on those extra years of life.

Cheap Petrol vs long life, you decide

Fuel costs are the least of your worries! :D

It is a fantastic car to own and drive though, costs a lot to run, but hey its only money :Cry1:

I looked in to LPG and decided that the company I went to couldn't handle the job.......its a big one and would have been upwards of £2000, you can buy an awful lot of petrol for £2000. With the uncertainty of the conversion and the economics it just isn't worth it. burn petrol have fun!

I agree with Dave, if any of us worried about fuel costs I doubt we would have bought a VR4 in the first place INSERT INTO post VALUES (it ain't a selling point for sure) :D
