I think i should upgrade my alarm system, before I install my ICE. Only got the stock corba at the moment. Anyone else installed a aftermarket alarm? I know everyone says Clifford and Toad are the best.. but r they? need to decide fairly soon on one, so any info on a new alarm will be helpful.

Toad on mine: works fine

Only the cat jumping onto the bonnet for a warmup sets it off - wind & rain haven't triggered it all year

Anyone know of any good alarm fitters in and around the london area??

I know hendoncarstereo.co.uk do a Clifford 650 fitted for £370.00, anyone been there before for alarms?

There's a place down in chadwell heath that fits the same alarm for £250. You can even get all your windows tinted for a £100 :pimp2:

£250 for the same alarm and £100 tints!! CHEAP as mate. Are they any good? and you got more details of the place?

just a quickie , i have been a clifford dealer for 12 + years and the rrp on the
650 is £389 ( mind you this is to be replaced buy the c650mk11 ) with in the next 4-5 weeks
the rrp on the 950 is £499 as i have two legnums ( vr4 ) and a str i am amazed buy the above quotes £300 for a c650
i know how much these alarms cost trade and i would not do one of these fitted for that ( well i could but it would not be a nice job )
also bear in mind that their are 3 diffrent c650 systems with 3 diffrent sensor options
