Anyone know if 18" wheels will be ok on a Galant? Just got mine and have a st of wheels that i used to have on a Ford Cougar that i reckon would look smart.

That brings me on to my next question...they are both 4 stud but i know other things affect whether they will be ok, but i'm no expert so can anyone tell me if they'll be ok?

As it's barely stopped raining since i got the Galant i haven't even offered hem up to see if they look like they'll fit.

Cheers

i don't think they'll fit, the offset is similar but Ford Cougar and Galant PCD (the spacing between wheel studs) is different, Galant is 4 x 114.3mm, Cougar is 4 x 108mm

Are they multifit, ie do they have 8 holes around the hub, some of which are slightly further away from the centre than others?

If you've already got the car then there is no harm trying :)

i have 18" on my car and i don't any spacers. They go straight on. They came with the car and they are in gold, on a black VR4. Correct Tyres are 225/40/18.

VR4 has 5 stud and PCD can be found on a search for PCD.

Hope this helps

Keep in mind the differences in tyre prices. Just found out something interesting say in the case of 225/XX/XXeagle F1s;

17s = $220ish
18s = $420ish
19s = $450ish

Im swapping back to 17s.

Could put the tyres off mine onto them, but could you be any further away!?

Mine are the Mille Miglia Spider+ as seen in my sig above, that reminds me must get a new one sorted with the Galant in.
