After some coilovers as they seem the way to go for lowering a car. Trademe is where I'd like to get them. What I need to know are what brands are good for Leggys. Feel free to throw links at me. Id rather not spend tooo much around $1000 would be good. Also any good writeups, links etc

Those Evo items are no good for our cars, wrong mounting, although i think the tophats might be similar.
Teins are a good brand, and a lot of people on here have them, for under $1k though youd probably be after second hand ones. Its worth getting the ones with adjustable dampers as well so you can alter them to suit your driving.
Realistically though i almost never altered the heights on either of my legnums once it was set, and the $300 odd extra for a cert is a pain.
I am planning to try and find something with an uprated, lowered spring, and an adjustable valving shock later this year, i think it will be just as good for less money. I rode in a mates civic with mugen damper adjustable shocks, and they were awesome, i dont know any brands for the legnum at this stage, but i'll be keeping an eye out.
