ok im still having issues with my brakes...

and been reading back on the old threads,
ones regarding recalls, and brake failure....

some cars had issues with this happening even if they weren't on the recall list,

a couple of the threads got me thinking about the abs (hydralic) brake modulator...

soft/spongy pedal,
one had complete failure and required 2 pumps for the brakes to work...

almost sounds like my issue, but ive had no ABS waring light pop up during running...

also mensioned is that some part can be disabled/bypassed to make the brake work properly?

how is this done?

anyway how could i find out if this part is faulty on my car?

i BEEN HAVIN SAME PROB SO STRIPPED CALIPERS TODAY, FOUND N/S ONE SLIDERS SEIZED SOLID. wILL FIX BUT NEED HEAT TO GET BOLTS MOVING. Just a case of new bolts, clean hole out in caliper, copper slip up and rebuild.

i dont have sliders,
ive fitted brembos to the car.

oh and copper slip is no good,
you need to use "rubber grease"

Carsten, I would be very interested to see what happens when you fit your brembo's to the purple one and see if it solves all of your problems
