K.... I am sure she will be fine. She has barely moved since the last mot so she should pass with flying colours ( not meant sarcastically). Good luck anyway

Yes they are, if only indirectly - think about it!

Air Filter/plugs/injector cleaner/power foam = Emissions.

Foglamps/bulbs - obviously

Fluids - screenwash! Nitpicky, I have heard of it though!

Tidy boot - so that the tester can get to the spare wheel and such.

Car clean - First impressions Derek!:scholar:

Agree about the clean car bit. One of my neighbours is an MOT tester, has been for years, and he told me that he will be a little bit more lenient (however you spell it) when he feels a car is generally well looked after. I nearly always clean a car before I have it MOT'd ...

Passed - And not a single advisory notice either!:iloveyou:

The chap said she was lovely and had obviously had a load of new parts recently(funny, eh!!!). He did say that the emissions test was a pain in the ass - 3 readings WAY off the scale, then 4th time she behaved herself. I escribe this to having a flat battery this morning and having to put the spare on the car - resetting the ECU in the process.

But there we go - all sorted!:afro:

Well done mate. Hopefully Ernie will be as lucky when I put him through...I'm not confident though.

Out of interest what is the battery supposed to be? There's some slimline thing in mine that doesn't look like it should be there.

Funny? Not quite the word I'd use to describe it dear..... typical, spoilt, jammy or even bankrupting are more the sort of words I'd use /pan

Seriously through, glad she's passed - although I never thought she wouldn't with all the time you spend on her everytime she so much as squeaks unexpectedly! I guess it's no bad thing - shows how much you value you her. In my book that makes all the time and expense worth while.
