Is there anything such as an english manual for these awesome machines.
Also has anyone been successful in sorting out the sat nav, tv and radio.
What Cd stack unit is compatable for these cars

I got an english hand book from my local Mitsubishi dealer.

My complete ICE had to be replaced with a British compatable as the Japanese amp was faulty.

I have Japanese manuals and an English manual for the standard Galants plus a supplement manual for the Ralliart VR-4.
My ICE was upgraded by the previous owner, but I don't think mine had Sat Nav. to start with.

But I read elsewhere that most basic radios aren't compatible over here because of the radio frequencies being further apart.

yes, the original Japanese radio on mine would only go up to 90 on FM, so no radio 1...

That doesn't matter because Radio 1 is crap anyway!!:D

Many imports have radio expander fitted but reception still limited - not full range as UK radio

Have other imports got aerial in rear window as I think my April 99 has?

I want to have radio/cassette fitted with cd multichanger in boot - radio with expander is still crap sandaerial provision may need rethinking

Kenwood system with less chrome and bright bits seems to fit in with my black interior - jap owner had carbon fibre insets for dash fitted

When I say carbonfibre inserts I mean FAKE carbonfibre inserts of course

If you look at your rear window you'll see an extra element above the heating demister element.

My Legnum has a arial in the middle at the back. It's has a power booster on it but it was still crap. INSERT INTO post VALUES (changed to a Kenwood)

Mitsubishi dealers and probably not just Ralliart dealers should be able to order and obtain a Galant handbook and the additional brief but expensive VR-4 handbook

I just got my VR4 from japan, and the importers had taken the cd shuttle. All i was left with was a tv screen that doesnt even tune any channels, and all the writings in japanese!
so basically i can only listen to one radio station and the reception sucks.
