Was really lucky - Jane found calipers, discs and pads with only 200 miles on them on ebay for £400 which is half price of new. They don't come up that often and are normally snapped up on the Supra forums

All done

In just over 3 hours - whole of front brake set up and wing replaced, including headlamp removal/drying etc.

BIG THANKS to Simon and Paul who are superstars on and off the track :pimp2:

I am a very happy bunny as first impressions of the brakes is good:scholar:

Also enjoyed seeing Simon drive the Supra past the house at warp speed and then upset a motorist upon his return :speechles

Well done on a productive day everyone !

Got NGK's in mine instead of Densos.

Pulled the Densos out of Ariadne as I wasn't sure about them, she seemed better on NGKs. Currently as an interim measure whilst troubleshooting another issue, I have bunged in a set of Champion Copper plugs with quite a cold heat range. She actually runs quite well on them, but she can be a bit of pain to start, and also she's spits/pops on the overrun a lot more with them.

I have another set of NGKs (Just like the ones PSB has fitted) ready to go in when I next have the urge to fiddle!

What you need now PSB are some Philips Silvervision bulbs. They much reduce (but don't totally eliminate) the fried-egg effect with the orange bulb, but are still good and bright when they flash (unlike many silvered bulbs). I have that same setup of clear lenses and silvervisions, and it does look much better.

got them off e-bay , the bloke selling them is in austria which means a bank transfer , but that only bumps the price to about 53 quid for all 4 items :D
