Boost settings

Got some options on my boost controller at the mo. What do they mean?

Theres:

SET - 0.34
GAIN - 32
START - 0.8

Now set is maximum boost which i range between 0.6 to 0.9 normally, but the other figures i don't know what to do with.

Thoughts?

Set: Is the required boost you want to obtain

Gain: is the rate that the solenoind works to obtain the boost..(start off low and gradually increase it, if you start to high, your boost will build to quickly and you may get boost spikes and may not be able to get a very smooth boost curve)

Start: Is a feature that holds the Wastegate shut to build boost much more quickly.. But set this start boost to high and you will also get boost spikes.. (Try setting it 3-4 psi beneath the boost level you are trying achieve) :scholar:
