I have been trying to get hold of some s/s braided hoses for my prefacelift leggie vr4. As per usual though, when searching for this through the likes of a goodrich catalogue i draw a blank.

So, are there any other Galant models that use the same hoses as the VR4?

I was going to make my own, as im going to have to do every brake line on the BM anyway, but want to do the VR4 now with out the hastle of measuring everything up.

Your help would be muchly apreciated!

Oh never mind him - he's small and weedy and cries easily. It'll be like taking candy from a baby :D

According to the following websites, the EC5A VR4 & the D32A/D38A Eclipse part #'s for brake lines are the same.

Checking SummitRacing.com, they have Russell brake lines for Mitsu Eclipse...

If you guys have any problems sourcing these, my dad can make these, they meet Australian Design Rules, tested to 3000psi. I assume they'll meet the UK criteria too.

I can't imagine them being too expensive to post either. It'll be around the same price that's on the brakes4u website, probably including postage. He made them for my magna and they were brilliant, they also do them for all sorts of cars, ferarri, porsche, even big lumpy 4wd's etc.

Confirmed, I purchased the Russell brake lines for Mitsu Eclipse...from SummitRacing.com. It is an exact fit.

Just confirming, this would be exactly the same as Facelift right? And as the Brembo from Evo 6-9 upgrade is a direct fit, I'm pretty sure it's safe to assume these lines would fit with no problem...?

Rear brembos take a different fitment to the VR4. Evo 6 lines are useable - I have fitted some in the past to a Brembo equipped VR4.
