Have a look at this (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?view=CAMPAIGN&grid=A1NoGoogle&pg=/ETHtml/content/news/campaigns/budget2007/personal_wealth_calc.jhtml). I'm up £6.03 a month thanks to PM Brown, I think 2007 is going to be a good year /pan

Pfft. One puts me at 17/month quid better off, the other 50. Both are utter bollox as I have just received a letter from Gordon advising me to buy some extra lube as he'll be down shortly to shft me good and proper.

As you previously posted that Mr Brown was helping you to by a 2000 on Vr4..... I take it you will be looking for a manual one then

Steve- spooky, I'm apparently £6.03 better off too.... However, I thought that the tax change didn't kick in until 2008?

just gone through the budget and worked it out on my circumstances - 11th budget from Gordon 'backstaber' Brown and for the 11th time on the trot he has kicked me square in the nuts.....

.... alltough nowhere near as bad as the £4m blackhole he left on my desk at work last year.....

give with one hand and take a bit more with the other.... The price you pay for being single, no sprogs, mid income backed up with a decent investment income, fairly large, thirsty car (in the scheme of things) person that bothers to get his arse out of bed in the morning to go to work

Said calculator doesn't include fuel which is going to swallow up any gains that any of you make!!

Been shafted again, no real surprise

6.02 better off

and £78 a year better off on the other link

Saying that with inflation, I'm actually minus £717 if I dont get a new contract sorted

£6.02 a month better off for me to. Makes no odds really does it? All smoke and mirrors anyway of you ask me - they give with one hand and take with the other. You're never going to win at the end of the day.

Sorry to be pessimistic.

according to that calculator that only takes fags and beer into account I'll have £19.88 less to pay...

but how much is fuel and road tax now? running 2 high performance jap cars I doubt very much I will be better off.... load of rollox...

bern is right, we just get shafted from every angle, might as well be pre-lubed and ready....
