Visited my local dealership today to get error codes read and sus out the problem. £60+vat per hour to do a 10min job. Had to politely decline that offer but turns out they where able to provide me a contact for a previous employee who had set up on there own.

from the error codes that i had logged the cam belt may of been fitted wrong and the timing could be out.Hopefully i will have answers tomorrow.

Thats just typical of all main dealers. If they had offered to do it for a few quid you might be tempted to put more work their way..... but no, they just don't seem to want to know. /Grrr

Its exactly the same in NZ, i was having the diff oils changed, and i asked them to have a look while i was standing there. The guys were convinced there was no need, but i had seen there was something fron the DIY test.

Plug it in... oh, look there are a couple/pan, cleared them all, and charged me over $100nz more:baby:
