Help with belts !

Hi, could some one please help me. When looking down at the engine of a type S VR4 there is a couple of belts on the left hand side of the engine, can someone please tell me the name of these belts and what they are for ? Just because looks like they need changing as they are a bit worn.

one is the alternator belt the other is the belt for power steering and your air con pump

On the same side under the plastic covers is the timing belt. If you don't know the history of the servicing I would consider changing that. The belt should be replaced at 45K or every 5 years.
If the belt snaps, its goodbye engine.

I wouldn't wait 5 years ... 3 years tops!
