Remote Mirror Closure

Hi all

I saw a old thread from Mo (Zedy1) (http://www.clubvr4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5211&highlight=mirror+closure) and was wondering if anyone has tried and tested this on the V6.. or even on the vr4..

Personally I dont think there can be much to it.. you can buy closure modules on ebay for about £15 which can do 2 or 4 windows and some modules for wing mirrors. Im giving the windows ago this weekend, and was hoping to find out if anyone has done the wing mirrors, because I might try them out too.

Just found out that closure modules are not reqired, but some sort of relay is.. still looking in to it.

done it many a time on customers car
2 x 5 pin changer over relays and , knowing what you are doing...........

I purchased a 4 window closure module off ebay and gave it a go fitting this sunday. I found the fitting instructions for the alarm in the member section and I managed to source out my trigger wire, which was kinda easy. Then I tired to find the right wire from the window switches to the window motor, which was hard because there was two looms which are attached to the motor, one of which was hidden behind the inner skin.. but anyway I found that after a bit. Tested the module and it worked great. I didnt have time to fit it all in so thats what il do next weekend. So far so good.
