Misfire

Can anybody help? My 98 VR4 has got a bad misfire under heavy and light throttle when its cold and when its hot, it then completely disappears and drives as it should. Dealer says no fault shows up on diagnostic read out. I have fitted new plugs and leads but they made no difference. Any suggestions its driving me mad. Tim

Hi, just to clarify....

In the post you say you have a 89 vr4, but a car you have listed Legnum, do you have a v6 TT or a 4 pot?

Sorry it should read 98, it is aVR4

did you clean the injectors?
maybe its not your sparkplugs but the sparkwire thats to bad.
i had misfire a while with the 2.0l.

je gaat toch niet je VR-4 op lpg gooien he.
je verneukt het gehele blok op die manier.

Thanks for posts have been using a injector cleaner in the petrol and it has greatly improved, hoping in time it will cure it completely Cheers
