no good on my lowered car,
if theres any custom piping? headers? down pipes? i could be keen

KHK
05-04-2007, 12:14 PM
no unfortunately,
all are original from Mitsubishi even the alloy wheel

bradc
05-04-2007, 07:51 PM
I just saw the 'underbar', it would normally be called a lower front strut brace. That is mine! Not sure how much it is worth though, maybe $150?

ANTHONY
05-04-2007, 10:05 PM
please allow me to gather all possible offers on different parts to see the total

but £50.00 is a bit disappointingwhat kinda price you looking at for the fogs?

Gly
05-04-2007, 11:21 PM
you can sell the twin fogs on US ebay, or TGC for over 350$ US
last set i saw on ebay went for $475 US!

personally i dont think a vr4 is worth importing to wreak unless it had ALOT of hot bits....

parts can be had very easy here in nz, for what is mostly a bargin,

motor $500 sometimes less on tm
panals sub $100 each,
i got flare for $150,
glass ~ $20 - 50,

etc...

just not worth the hassle

Gly
05-04-2007, 11:22 PM

you'll rip it off on NZ roads,

they hang far to low even on a stock height car.

bradc
05-04-2007, 11:35 PM
Can't be any lower than a body kit, or my exhaust, surely?

KHK
06-04-2007, 03:39 AM
Gly
i love the moon roof of legnum, so is the reason for importing but unforseen trouble happens
of course not importing to wreck, definitely would lose money this way

some parts are confirmed with buyers

so please name your parts that you are interested and make a reasonable offer

How much is the ECU worth? im keen on that.

KHK
06-04-2007, 07:41 AM
factory original ECU....it is AT Legum VR4, make sure it is what you are looking for

i don't know the price really or i need to ask around
please make an offer

Gly
06-04-2007, 08:00 AM
Can't be any lower than a body kit, or my exhaust, surely?

yeh it is...
i was gonna buy a ralli art one,

but after seeing how low it sat, i left it...

sure would be fine if NZ had nice flat roads without bumps, pot holes, speed bumps, but its not the case,

you will end up ripping it off, and possibly doing some serious damage to the underside of your car.

bradc
06-04-2007, 08:17 AM
def, I reckon $200 is fair for the facelift ecu ;)

I reckon the lower strut thing will be fine, I'm brave enough to try it :D

KHK
06-04-2007, 08:46 AM
as long as you know where and when to steer, to slow down to avoid those bumps and holes, the lower strut should be fine

there is no 100% flat nice road in any country

KHK
06-04-2007, 07:50 PM

it is also useful to me for my pre facelift version for brake modification

Perhaps I should post in here to save any confusion.

I have registered interest in the facelift rear spoiler, Super Vr4 side skirts and possible the rear lip. All dependent on shipping cost to the UK.

Project SVR4 Body clone is nearly there /rally

KHK
07-04-2007, 01:14 PM
lol

facelift rear spoiler is different from Super VR4 spoiler
i would post a photo later to show
the left one is facelift rear spoiler
the right one is super vr4 rear spoiler (not for sale)

only problem is the length of parts that makes shipping difficult
the side skirt almost 2m long!!!

i'll check the delivery fee when the Fedex dealer opens

Don't be scared by Fedex charges, may have suprise. See what they quote me.

KHK

the delivery should be roughly around 85 NZD as these stuff are not in NZ this moment, but you could pay less if my friend is willing to take them to you in Auckland. It is quite heavy! There are altogether 3 pieces with a lot of wires: touch screen capable LCD monitor (open and close need follow up), CD radio unit (radio works, CD works but the CD eject mechanism needs follow up), DVD unit (need repair, problem unidentified, not bother to test as i am not good in electronics)

to make CD eject from the CD player, I use another CD, insert half, press the eject button then the CD inside would be ejected after several trials
when the CD player plays a CD, music/song has NO problem

the touch screen function responds OK, i disconnect the whole set and forgot to test it beforehand

the DVD units seems to be able to read (can hear some noise of trying to read), when i insert a video disc, no sound or video appear in the hifi system.

as long as the delivery fee is low and you are electronic oriented, good to try!

I have often wondered if the whole rear end from a facelift will fit a pre facelift.

Were the shells different? I have no idea but it would be nice to know.

And don't forget I want the facelift rear spoiler :P.

The bumpers are different on facelift cars, and the boot opening space is different as well. It might be able to fit, but you would need the bumper as well.

i would be cheaper and easier to just buy a faelift with a moon roof,

its been done befor... so it is possible...
i think they used a tail/rear end cut. and cut the pre facelift on and welded the facelift on on?

AncientOfMu,
how long does it take for u to go to Gatwick airport? would u drive there for pick up?

how is the SVR4 side skirt?
It is a bit difficult as it is 2m long but i guess it would easier a little bit if u can pick up at airport

Kenneth
13-04-2007, 11:12 PM
KHK, what exactly is broken on the AV set?

The wiring is no problem, just not sure what doesn't work?

KHK
13-04-2007, 11:22 PM
there are some scratches on surface
i guess should need some time to handle with the DVD play head
with luck, if you can change the head , it may work to play,
but i m not sure, as i can't DIY myself with it
dun want to pay someone else high fee to repair

the shipping needs 9 weeks, would it be OK?

low price shipping to UK has just been found
but
you or someone authorized by you need to collect from Southampton
port fee may involve and to be paid by collector

for small items, i'd send by air
for bulky items, i would send in the form of pallet via ship to Southampton

that means shipping of alloy, leather seats, side skirts, bumper etc OK to be sent by ship with reasonable shipping fee

alloys £120 + postage (roughly 1 cbm)
whole set of tan leather seats with door cards £120+postage (roughly 2cbm)

If anyone in the UK is considering getting large stuff shipped to the UK, perhaps we could share shipping and pickup costs as I'm seriously considering getting a pallet sent to the UK.

Sharing the shipping hassle would help me, you and KHK cause it might mean he sells more bits :P.
