A British Transport Police (BTP) spokesman described the skier's antics as "naive and reckless". They urged the man to contact them so they could discuss the potential dangers of his stunt.

I like the fact that most reports talk about an 'unidentified skier' - the clip shows his name and face, the feature is from a ski movie "Mind the Gap" (the clue is in the title) which was released last season. Somewhere, some lazy journo earnt himself a bit of cash for seeing this Youtube clip, one email to the BTP and turning it into a story which made national news.
