I never thought I'd see the day I looked at a Subaru WRX and thought 'Hmmm! That looks quite nice!'.....

I think that looks smart. Understated agression with 'grown up' looks. Kinda reminds me of the VR-4 in some ways. It's understatedly handsome and powerful.

Hmmm..... Yes, I really do rather like that.

its not as bad as the previous one, but the 22B is still the best looking subie by a long way

Understated is the new Carbon fibre wing!

I like it a lot, I can see who they are appealing to. Looks very BMW but a bit more composed/logical.
I hope the inside is good, they need to crack that or they are wasting their time trying to get new types of custom

However, side by side on looks basis the Hyundai Genesis (last pic) looks a lot nicer, but i guess wont lack the durability or power of that scooby. Scooby fanboys will love it cos they feel the need to, whereas non-scooby owners will now consider its 'modern jap construction' and wont feel embarrassed sitting in it.

Finally, a subaru that doesn't look out of place!

it does look ok, i suppose.

Due to design restraints brought on by EEVC protecting from Pedestrian Fatalities/injuries, i feel the fronts of every car may potentially look the same one day.

Barry, you're right but lets face it, if anyone is poor enough to be walking, and dumb enough to do said activity in front of a car, they deserve to be run over and hurt severly! </ignorant mode>

It's not as nice as the legacy (wagon... I don't like the back of the legacy saloon) imo. I prefer the new lancer to the new impreza.

We're not getting the saloon by all accounts, just the hatchback.

I think it looks terrible and really steers away from wat the car really is ... A rally bred car. The Legacy/Liberty is the classy subaru ...
Give me a VR4 anyday over the WRX ...

The hatchback is terrible. The sedan doesn't look quite so bad in the front 3/4 pic in that link.

Sorry to jump waaay back but for the folks who said it kinda looked like a Saab...

... I give you, the 'Saabaru'.

If I couldn't get my mucky paws on a VR4 I was gonna attempt to get one of these. Apparently they're great but at the end of the day, it's no Galant.

Oh and I realise this has practically bugger all to do with the new WRX, I just felt like sharing.

:P
