Has anyone found a non-ebay source for centre caps and/or locating rings?

My Bronze Volks Racing SE37's have neither. More concerned about the locating rings. I can get them made up by a local engineering firm, but it'd be easier to buy off the shelf.

RHD japan do some Volks caps, but they're silver :(

Have you tried your local wheel/tyre places?

When i used to work for one of the suppliers over here we used to have a HUGE pile of sizes of them.. :)

Forgive my ignorance, but i thought that the spigots on the wheelnuts centred the wheel?
If not then i need some centre spigots as i think 3 of mine are missing!

You need centering spigot rings on each wheel. Otherwise all the load is carried
on the 4 / 5 bolts. It has been known for bolt holes to become oval without
spigoy rings.

aaah i see. Thanks Malc.

So why do they make them out of plastic which just breaks? Nice bit of anodised ally would be nice (Although noone else would see them!).

Ye gods! They want £40 for four spigot rings. Hard plastic.

That's 4 times the stuff on ebay. It's pretty hard to tell if there's going to be a difference in quality too...

So what do you think? Pay a tenner on fleabay, or take a chance and fork out £40 for these....?

I'd ask at the decent local wheel/tyre place.. I needed some when I got my Kahn 18's and the place I bought the tyres from told me the main London agent turned out to be the bling wheel shop only 1/4 mile from me. Popped in, he called supplier, in post, picked up next day, Voila !!! Nice proper metal ones too !.... cost about £25-30 if I recall .
