Hi
I currently own 98 1.8 Galant Viento and it seems that she has got really high factory suspensions..(its about 50~70mm up from my 15''). So i'm thinking to get a set of lowering springs. I found a set on internet, called JAMEX (anyone heard about this company?) and the guy said he got his legnum lowered about 40~50mm. I would like to know if i'm to change springs, do i need to change shock absorber as well? If i dont, would it upset the suspension balance..?
Appreciate for any advice&replies
Thanks!

If the jamex springs are for a gdi then you will be fine. If they are a VR-4 you will probably end up with a car that is about as high as it is now.

i've had jamex springs....

good and affordible,

no you dont need new shocks.

you will need a wheel alignment,

and the rear wheels will sit right up to the guard on stock wheels....

you will need GDI specific ones as the vr4 ones are only good for the 4WD ones
as its a much heavier car,

if yours is 4wd vr4 ones will be fine.
had them in my 25ST with no issues
