Hey i'm new here I don't own a vr4 unfortunatly i have a crappy 1993 2.0 glsi auto. what mods would people do to one of these to make it a little more bearable both looks and performance wise?

Welcome! Don't feel bad about the GLS!! They're solid cars for the cash, I loved mine to bits! Still do!:afro:

As for power... Well, despite having a 4G63 in there (a la the EVO engine), it's a SOHC version tuned for economy and such, so beyond your basic mods (exhaust, decat, Air filter, fresh plugs) there's not much else you can do to make 'em quicker.

There is a danish forum user on here who has a turbocharged 1997 GLS, but last I heard he was having headgasket problems - boost had to be kept very low to stop them blowing. It might be worth a look, but I think the cost and potential issues would outweigh the benefits. Certainly, that's what I decided with mine.
