This is my first test on my FWD VR2 at standard 6a13TT engine.
I think I can make far better after ading some mods such boost controller or RamAir filter.

There is a rev limiter. This gauge for non turbo up to 8k only!! I need to buy 10k RPM gauge.

Nice acceleration once you obtain grip /yes

So what have you got your Rev limit set to ??

Is the engine standard or has it uprated internals or been balanced ??

It is standard. No mods yet. Dont forget that it is 2WD not as heavy as the VR4!!
I am not expert with turbo's yet. But I can see my boost guage reach to 0.06 (I think this is OK for standard engine)?

Ok (you did not read the full Thread)
This is 8K gauge for 4g63 2.0 galant. The current engine is 6a13TT. It will reach to 9k as I have been told.
This is why.

Yes i did read full thread :D

So what your saying is it's safe to run a 6A13TT engine to 9000rpm :speechles

Thats Vtec Territory :inquisiti

And to run it to 9000rpm the Rev limiter must have been moved ?

Thats what I thought..... If you look at the speed the rev counter is moving from 7k to 8k on the dial, it looks like it is going up to 10k.

You may find that the rev counter is very inacurate. as it shows the engine idle as 1600 -1800, my vr4 at idle is more like 700-800.

You may correct. I can't say. I better to buy a good 10k RMP gauge.

The gauge will not be reading the right revs as it thinks it is a 4 cylinder engine when it is a 6. I had a similar problem when i bought a car that would supposedly rev to 8000 but was only really making 5500. Think this is what is happening??
