well the galant grew to be a large car, and the lancer has grown in each of it's last 4 shapes, it must be about galant size now :)

But will it be as good as the VR-4.

"A new Lancer (non-EVO) or a second-hand well maintained VR-4 (mine) ?", that is the question for me.

why a non evo lancer? why not go with an evo?

Okay - never liked EVOs I can go with, but high costs as a reason for not choosing one, when your current car is a VR-4?! :inquisiti

Actually it is entry costs to an EVO is $60,000+ new or $30,000+ second-hand. These cars are only slightly better (+10-20%) than my existing VR-4, which only costs me fuel ($60 per week) and maintenance/wof ($2-3,000 per year) and insurance and rego. Why burn $60,000+ for a car that is only slightly better.

How are you quantifying 10-20%? :inquisiti

10-20% = Power, features etc.

VR4 vs EVO , AYC vs S-AYC, ACD vs S-ACD, 260/280 hp vs 300/300hp

But how can you judge that they only make 10-20% difference if you've not tried it?

All I am saying really is that a new EVO is definitely not 4-5 times better than a VR-4. It maybe 10%,20% or even 30%, but not 300-400% better. Which is the price difference.
