1 - $500 - 4 Star Mongoose alarm, one that allows aturbo timer to run whilst activated.
2 - $650 - GReddy profec B plus 2. Still in box.

4 - $150 - GReddy auto timer.
5 - $170/$240 BMC panel filter & BMC Pod filter with adapter respectively.
6 - $100 - Boot cover.

Anyone want something specific and easyish to get off give me a yell.

I cant find any usefull info about them anywhere, I'll have to see if the shop I got them from has anything usefull. They're "supposed" to be better than the HKS level ones but not as good as the rally/race ones.

SiRVR4 - That ****ty greyish colour and the surround is the horrible fake wood type stuff :(

ok cool,
you able to remove the monsoon without breaking it?

you need to wind down the glass,

you will need to remove 3 black clips first,

leaver them down with a small flat screw driver (the rubber seal of the windown will just come down with it....

(save the clips ill need them)

then from the top get a craft knife and run the blade between the monsoon and door to cut the tape,

can you get it off first :P

Hi this is a long shot, do you have a set of front guard arch covers the plastic thingys

Do you mean the pieces of plastic that go between the tyres and the guards, or the flares on the outsides of the fenders?

Hey djb160 (or anyone else!),
i know its a long shot but i was wondering if you happen to have these random pipes.. think they go to the transmission but not positive. mine are crushed and i have not been able to find a replacement.

p.s. those plugged up hoses are the Dump-valve pipes if ya can't figure out the location based on the 2 pics, dont worry i have a BOV these are old pics from when i brought the car.

07-06-2007, 09:57 PM
hey rosco, long time no see!
What did you use to block those pipes for the BOV?

djb160
08-06-2007, 01:58 AM
Rosco, I'll have a look this weekend.

Rosco, I'll have a look this weekend.
Thanks man that would be great.

hey rosco, long time no see!

A BOV... hahaha
no seriously. when i brought the leggie it didn't HAVE a BOV it was like it is in the photos. they are just metel stopper things with typical worm drive clamp things.

interestingly i took these photos because of the missing BOV issue.
then i stumpled across this thread and though what random broken ass car bits do i need? well i need those 2 little pipes... i was too lazy to go take more photos of the pipes i required so had a look at existing photos had had and dug these ones up... which brings me to the interesting realisation, that the pipes, if you look closely can be seen to be crushed in these pics also so it appears that i didn't do it (yay!?) but it was like that when i brought it.

im looking for the stock rear speaker covers for a 96 galant if anyone has them, i dont know if the legnums would have them? mine didnt come with them, or rear speakers at all :(

Goku
08-06-2007, 04:42 AM
They look like power steering pipes.... I think they are ment to be like that.

djb160: Don't sell too many parts off the engine :D

Rosco_NZ

Rosco, I'll have a look this weekend.
Any luck?

They look like power steering pipes.... I think they are ment to be like that.
It's not obvious from the fotos because they aren't damaged in the photo... (though it does prove that it was me that damaged them and they were not always like that... ) but yeah photo was from when i first got the car, and those pipes are not crushed like someone squeezed them with some pliers.
if they are indeed powersteering then it doesn't worry me as much... though it could explain why the steering feels stiffer perhaps.

Goku
01-09-2007, 10:27 AM
Right, thoes pipes are power steering pipes, I'm not too sure which bits you'll need, but if it's the bit I'm thinking of, you'll have to wait till we drop the engine to get to it.... it splits off and winds out over the gearbox.

Rosco_NZ
01-09-2007, 01:09 PM
sweet as, no rush mate, they been like that for a while now and i haven't noticed anything detrimental.

though it sounds like it would be a mission to fit if you have to drop the engine out to take it off, then probably similar to put them on?

Goku
02-09-2007, 04:09 AM
I would assume so, from the pic you posted up, they seem to be just after a rubber join in the line.

Rosco_NZ
02-09-2007, 09:18 PM
that though had already crossed my mind when i thought it was transmission related piping.. but didn't really want to hack it off incase the tiny shavings got into the gearbox... but if its power steering related then what is it? hydrolic fluid or something? always better to get an original part than patch it up...

so back to the rubber pipe section, would a short section of vaccuum hose with a couple of worm drive clips do the trick?
or do you think the fluid would get to pressurised and bulge the piping? crushed section is about 3inch long but you could pull them almost together i imagine.

Goku
02-09-2007, 11:37 PM
If you look up further towards the engine side of the pipe, you'll see that it is joined by a section of rubber hose, so you can remove it from the cooler section in front of the intercooler.

I would say that it's fine the way it is now, but if it's bothering you that much, grab some Samco fuel and oil proof lines and cut the section you don't want out, then join it together.

Drain your power steer fluid first, then you'll have to fill it up again and make sure to get any air out of the lines.
