It's in Sheffield so went to have a looksee tonight. The car is an absolute peach. :afro: all the right bits in all the right places & drove like new.

Sadly...... nice chap though he was.... I think it's a little overpriced. :thinking: but if someone wants a really nice example of a 7G..... here it is.

he's been offered £1500 + an old school 190 E....... & declined. :speechles

Very nice :) Its a sport GT version.. :) However it would have the small turbos on it due to be being auto. :(

Of course, a burgundy paint scheme would be worth an extra 30hp, koff, koff.

A couple of dodgy bits of info in that auction. 240hp for starters; it was 8G autos that had 260hp. And Mitsubishi didn't quote 5.9 to 60 for this model either unless I'm very badly mistaken.

I think he's kidding himself about the price as well. Of course if I was offered £1500 and a Merc 190 for mine I'd decline too, but only because I don't want to part with the old girl.

I got a 7g VR4 for a smoke a few weeks ago.

Came with a wierd number plate that says something like BIG xxx L

The front top mounts are shot, as are the front shockers. Its burgandy with a good paint fade, a dent in the back 1/4 but everything seems to work. five 'undred paund!

Ever since it arrived i cant get near it! Mark had it (I love that galant, its a great car, you take my car), Graham had it (I love that galant, needs new shockers but i love it, you take the scoob) Even young ben the trainee (Lets have a shot in the galant, you can take my ped!)

Its my car and i think i have driven it twice!
