you cleaned the wires up nicely, looks good :)

Was much quicker than the first time I installed it, but then the break out wiring harness had to be made last time too. and only one little boo-boo :)

good to see it going to use :)

Nice work, I guess it still has Kenneths map in it running the car, so no need to learn? I would be keen to see how it compares to the rough base PaulC found through a MAP2 forum member.

(convert back from notepad to .tbl to use it)

If you cant get access to yours, you can plug it in to my laptop sometime.

I really should switch to MAP but i'm still fooling around with the other features:baby:

ken never used the map to run the car,
he just had it for logging...

i dont know how much will be filled in? or if its still on there?
i dont have a usb-serial adaptor, ill be getting one tomorrow.

then i have to ask the misses nicely if i can borrow her laptop.

atm its still set to be used with a wideband (lc1) and his TPS and baro settings.

and its still in learn mode. i wont be letting it run the car before a proper tune.
or atleast till i have my own wideband so i can moniter thngs myself.

ill grab what info i can off it before updating the settings

I ended up getting a dicksmith one, which seems to work well so far.

Also id be keen to see where you end up sticking the unit. I havent really found a good place, I dont want to sitck it in the glovebox so it gets nicked, but with the extra loom for the MAP2 its a bit of a squeeze putting it by the stock ecu. I'll probably just cable tie it somewhere:inquisiti.

Today i stuck a couple of switches, along with the LC-1 LED and interruptor thingee in the sunglass holder, so i can covertly switch the launch control safety and for switching between maps (eventually):scholar:

yep ill be getting the DSE one,
as both you and ken had success thie them,
seams to be the best bet.

not sure on placement yet...

No worries, you can always show your apreciation with some rep points though!

That baro sensor wire was a bit of a curly one... was fairly fortunate to work out what the problem was! still, should be all sorted now.
