50mm offset fits just...

I've just fitted a set of 225/40/18 tyres to a set of 18" wheels with a 50mm offset and they fit on the front perfectly. On the back the needed a 3mm spacer though but that is not much and they don't rub anywhere. Just thought you would like to know... :-)

Did they rub on the suspension arm at the back?

Nope. Without the 3mm spacer they were a touch too close for my liking so I went for 3mm spacers to ease my mind. Gave me 5mm in total to miss the rear suspension.... Tested to over 130mph straight and 90mph around corners and still doesn't touch... Drifts but doesn't touch so good enough for me... P.S. Glad I'm not the only one up this late.... :-)

Actually, off the subject, I'm looking to move to Australia. Where would you suggest? Don't mean to be annoying... So what's the time by you?

at the moment it is 4:20pm, I've spent quite a bit of time in Melbourne and Brisbane, liked both places a lot. Cairns is very good too.
