The first stickers/decals/crap whatever you want to call them went on dads car this morning. I've given it a wash and some TLC ready to hand back to him this afto (in one piece no less) and thought i'd take the opportunity to add a little colour for him.

I'm not great at applying the sunscreen type, i'd already had a trial run putting a white one on my 205 which looks garbage and didn't really do much of a better job with this one, although it doesn't have as many bubbles or creases I think it's slightly off centre. Oh well, i've got time to get another one and re-apply if it proves to be really bad.

Ohhhhh I like the Ralliart one looks good on Silver car :D

Went up to Ikea this afto and got some right funny looks from people. Especially some grey haired old bloke almost asleep at the wheel of his silver estate. Glad I didn't do the rest.

Nick, it was an ebay job, search for ralliart sunstrip if you want one.

Should be up at yours in a few weeks for a minor service and a once over before we head off if you've remembered, we'll get it stuck on then.

I bought some more yesterday from here (http://www.hollographics.com/acatalog/Le_Mans_2007_Stickers_&_Decals.html) which should complete my collection, as i've spent enough money already on the bloody things.

This morning saw dads car recieved a wash and 3 stage polish with the meguires stuff. Once the car was like glass I set about apply the stickers i've collected.

I've a few small ones still to add but this is pretty much it. I'll get some better photos another day.

Wheres the fun in that? I couldn't fit the big PH smiley on once the others were on, so thought a modify in the design was needed hence the broken conrod.

Dad was working yesterday, I asked him if I could wash and polish his car in readyness for our trip, he agreed but was a bit shocked when he got home to see his car looking like this. I think he's refusing to drive it until we go now.

It should keep his fuel bill down for the next week and bit though.
