Checked my fluid levels today and noticed the power steering fluid and Engine Coolant is still full (in level with the full mark on the reservoir). From the looks of it, it hasn't changed one bit since I had it serviced about 10 months ago. I've done about 7,000 in that period. Looks like my engine doesn't use it.

Is this normal?

Good news ......... I always found it gave me great confidence that the engine systems were all working precisely as they should. :)

so my engine is fine then? not unusual? meaning I could carry on another 10 months without topping these up?

Yeah, its interesting actually my old Galalnt GLSi (1995/N reg), I could notice changes in the fluid levels quite quickly so it might show just good our engines really are with these new Galant range :)

you mean one of the many events that happened while you were growing up Derek? I think mitsi were busy making engines for other things just before WW2 :)
