I found this video on YouTube and it looks pretty amazing.

At first I thought - Wow, I need one of them. It steams ahead of everything it passes on the track. Then I read up a bit more and realised they only made 2500 of them and they are very unlikely to appear here.

Then I realised the Legnum looks way better anyway. I don't really like the Evo Wagon's square look. Check out this promotional vid of it:

Some of the ClubVR4 members cars are pushing out over 360hp aren't they? So how different would they be to the Evo 9 Wagon featured?

A few brake and suspension upgrades along with whatever the engine/transmission upgrades are needed to reach 360hp and that should be it, no?

Then I got thinking how big is the engine bay....and could we squeeze an Evo powerplant in a VR4?

Just daydreaming really but I thought the video was cool.

And some driver too, phew! Nerves of steel around those corners....

P.S. Are those racing pads you can hear squealing as he brakes into the corners (not the tyre screech - before the corner)?

There are a couple in NZ, I wouldn't change to one of them because the Legnum looks better, has no lag at all, and makes more power + torque than an evo works rally car running at 20psi :)

Also with the amount of money you would need to spend to install and evo motor, you could forge a 6a13tt, put bigger turbos on, and make more power with less lag.

The evo powerplant does fit - there is a Japanese legnum with an evo lump in it. But as Brad says, spend the money on the 6A13 - it has more capacity and more cylinders, so in theory more will be able to be got. The big advantage for the 4G63 lump is that the tuning scene is so much bigger, the goodies are all bolt on.

Ah, thanks for embedding them Spirit. I tried wrapping the [video] tag around the the YouTube links but just got a white box. How do you link to an external video (and a Flash one at that)? I thought we had to upload pics / vids etc to the upload area now?
