Hey everyone, /Wyhy

Just came back for a quick peek...

Been busy the last while; bought a house (scary), renovated said house (knackered), moving in this weekend (dread) so running the whole gamut here.

Hope everyone is well and happy, (and that my old car is doing fine.)

Be good,

A

good to see you back, even if your new car is about as far as you can get from a VR-4 :)

Thanks...

it's a quirky little thing, the summer is here and I put petrol in it about once a fortnight.

With the VR-4 the gas station owners probably named their first born after me, in honour of my fuel expenditure...

If you ever find yourself looking at a smart, forget the 'auto' option - SE drive, you will never use it.

It has a turbo, feels quicker than it is... /rally

Hey Adam - Nice to see you drop by - Good luck with the house move and what have you, hope it all goes smoothly!

Presumably you're moving to another house in Germany?

Hiya,

Moving all of about 1Km...

From a rented 'zweifamilienhaushalfte' - a flat to you and me, but as big as most UK houses to an 'einfamilienhaus' or detached to those of us who grew up in the UK.

Friedensthal (Peace valley) to Friedenstrasse (Peace street)

Nice symmetry.

Adam,

What part of Germany are you in? I'll be at Rheindahlen.

I'm living more or less directly between Hameln and Paderborn (those are my nearest BFG camps)

Still the same Bundesland though... :scholar: so you'll not be more than 70Km or so (still not so sharp on the geography, so I could be way out...)
