I am thinking of converting my legnum to dual lpg and petrol as I do a lot of miles and would recoup the cost, £2000, in about a year. I know there is a converted legnum out there which was advertised for sale in Jan this year in Dorset, I think. Does anyone know it? There might be a small power loss, less than 10hp, while on gas, but I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts which I have not considered.

I looked in to it and was concerned that you would have to keep doing ECU resets when swapping over as the ECU would learn the different properties of the fuel. This would be a major inconvenience. Also the place I went said they would have to switch from gas to petrol above 5000rpm to ensure there was no detonation. There were too many ifs and buts for my liking.

That is interesting! I spoke to someone who has been in the conversion business for ages and he didn't mention this. he seemed more concerned re hi or lo pressure turbos.
