radiator hose

first time here, hope i,m doing it right. have problem. after being parked up overnight,and checking before startup in morning, i notice that the top raiator hose on my vr4 is squashed in quite flat, on taking the radiator cap off the hose goes back to normal any ideas on this appreciated

check you rad fluid overflow hose isnt blocked.

obviously when the water inside the engine it gets cold, and gets smaller, and thats why that hose is flattening out. I would suggest it is either a problem with the overflow hose, or there is something wrong with the radiator cap.

thanks for advice on flattend radiator hose, had already checked overflow hoses every thing clear there, will get new radiator cap tomorow,is 0.9 the right one cheers

the stock one is 0.9, but lots of people run 1.0 or 1.1 bar ones.
