Reverse light

I have got reverse light problems,they dont work.I have checked the fuse that is ok and i have checked the bulbs and they are ok.i have even tried new bulbs but still no joy.Has any one else had this prob?

Yep, I had exactly the same problem.

Fixed this by replacing the reverse sensor which is bolted into the transmission box. The part costs 13 quid. You can check this by shorting the connection, and your lights will come on.

You may be able to salvage your sensor by unclogging the casing that holds in the bearing which turns the lights on/off. I only discovered this afterwards....
