If you're that worried about rigidity and needing to put (in my humble option) an ugly brace in, why not just put a full or half cage in.............then the body/chassis will be bl##dy rigid..........end of problem.

Looks nice, but i cant see it would make much of a difference to the cars rigidity TBH. Triangulation is the key!
