I've spent the whole morning trying to beat 2 minutes on a particular track in Need for Speed, my first 6 rolling lap times were:
2:00.65
2:00.53
2:00.96
2:00.50
2:00.25
2:00.47
Then I got a 1:59.86 :D Interestingly all of my top speeds were very similar too, all between 256.9kmh and 257.8kmh.

In the real world it is going great, tons of power, and over 500km's per tank. In 5th gear it accelerates better than a normal car in 4th
Ha Ha what the hell do you do for a job brad?

Must admit I fired up the old PS2 on Saturday. First time I've used it for ages. Just so that I could have a go on the 'Ring and see how much I remembered from driving it myself. Chose a 440bhp BMW M3 GTR race car thing as my weapon of choice and did 4 laps all between 7m29s and 7m35s. Going to try and find the VR-4 in the game at some point and see what lap time I get with that.
One thing is for sure (game vs real life) is that Foxhole is much, much scarier in real life ... :speechles

I've been playing Stalker shadow of chernobyl on my PC a lot recently, it's a pretty good game, although it can make you a bit jumpy.
Thanks, problem solved and installed it

I'm really looking forward to NFS Pro Street, and I'm getting test drive unlimited next week, that should be good fun too.

i've played a bit of TDU (not online mind you)
the 'whole island' thing is quite cool - it's huge, takes almost an hour to drive right around the perimeter, however the car handling is a bit weird even with a wheel and pedals

sounds like good fun :) I'm using a keyboard and mouse at the moment, but I've got a G25 coming my way.
