EVO8 Recaros into 98Mdl Galant VR4

Anybody, got any experience of putting EVO8 Recaros into a VR4.

Yep, I bought the official Recaro subframes and rails.

You need to cut off the extra bolt type things Mitsubishi have welded to the bottom of the Recaros to get the mounting holes to match up, but once you've done that they go in pretty easily.

The subframes were ~£300 for the pair from Recaro so you may be better having something custom made up if you can find somewhere to do it.

Sure thing, you'll need Recaro part numbers 85.85.15 and 85.85.16 if you want to go that route. I'm pretty sure these are the right numbers going by some of my old emails, but i chucked the original reciepts when we emigrated.

Steve at Capital Seating http://www.capitalseating.co.uk (the UK distributors for Recaro) will be able to assist you to confirm these. They are the same part for all models of VR4 including the 7G.
